The processed organic fertilizer particles to be dried are transported by a belt conveyor to the feed inlet of the feeder, and the particle material flows into the drum dryer barrel along the feeder chute. The feeder is embedded on the outer side of the drying cylinder. As the deceleration drive system drives the overall rotation, the granular material moves backwards with the rotation of the drying cylinder, and the feeder end is filled with heated hot air. Directly contact the material in the drying cylinder to evaporate its water vapor and dry it. During the drying process, the deceleration drive system is adjusted by a frequency converter to adjust the speed of rotation based on the degree of material drying. The material is dried dry, accelerating the value of the frequency converter to quickly pass through the integrated device of drying, cooling, and screening. If the drying effect is not good, lower the value of the frequency converter to make the drying, cooling, and screening integrated device rotate slowly, and the material stays inside for a longer time. The middle induced draft hood draws the dried water vapor out of the drying cylinder. Then, the dried material enters the cooling drum as it rotates. Under the action of the middle induced draft hood, natural air enters the cooling drum from the unclosed end of the cooling machine. As the cooling drum rotates, it picks up the material and directly lowers the temperature of the material to the natural temperature. Afterwards, the granular materials enter the drum screen, and the unqualified materials are screened out from the drum screen. The qualified materials directly enter the next packaging section.
The heat source of the dryer can be coal, electricity, natural gas, biomass particles, biomass oil, etc. The use cost of coal is lower, and the use cost of electricity is higher.
The current drum dryer is well made and has mature manufacturing technology. It not only has high output and lower energy consumption, but also uses high-temperature air generated by a hot air stove to evenly dry materials and is equipped with dust removal technology, which can better meet environmental requirements.
